Froze some breast milk in these and the half-ounce size is exactly right for my six-month-old, no waste like with the big molds. The fat round handle actually stays in his fist instead of slipping out halfway through.
The short fat handle is what sold me — my 7-month-old actually gets her whole fist around it instead of dropping it every two seconds. I freeze pumped milk in them and she gums away happily while I get a few minutes to myself.
