The 1½ oz size is just right for my 3-year-old — big enough to feel like a real treat but small enough that it doesn't end up half-melted on the floor. Same developmental shape as the smaller ones we used when she was younger, so she already knew how to hold it.
My toddler actually finishes these now that each pop holds 1 1/2 oz, so no more half-eaten ones going to waste. They're sized for kids 24+ months, which finally feels right for my two-year-old.
