These square plates are perfect for my 7-year-old—the size is just right for a full meal without being babyish, and the two identical ones mean no fighting over a favorite. They've held up great in the dishwasher after a month of daily use, no warping or fading at all.

My 5-year-old can actually scoop his food without the plate sliding around, which is a huge win. The only downside is the two plates are exactly the same color, so I wish they'd come in different shades to tell them apart.
