The open design is exactly what I needed for my little one to practice scooping her own food, and it's sturdy enough that she can't flip it over mid-meal. We've been using them daily for both purées and finger foods, and cleanup is a breeze.
We've been using these for both purees and baby-led weaning, and the shallow sides make it easy for my little one to scoop up food. The 5-pack is great for having spares on hand, though the plates are a bit smaller than I expected. Still, they're a solid choice for starting solids.
