We started with the tiny spoons and worked up from there, and the progression actually makes sense instead of just being five random utensils. My 2-year-old now insists on using the bigger spoon herself at every meal.
My 8-month-old actually gets the tiny spoons into her mouth instead of flinging them across the room. The chunky handles are easy for her little fists to grip, and moving up to the next size as she grows means we won't be buying more sets for a while.
The stage-by-stage setup is what sold me — my toddler started on the tiny spoons and now actually holds the bigger ones the right way. Mealtimes went from a wrestling match to her feeding herself most of the bowl.
